The rear vents on the E36 318ti are used to equalize the pressure when closing the doors. Unfortunately, they are situated right behind the rear wheels, making them a significant source of dust and dirt ingress into the cabin when racing off-road. These 18 gauge sheet metal panels can be welded in to eliminate the vent and keep the interior much cleaner.
